Cheesy Potato Bake in the Air Fryer
What you need:
3 to 4 potatoes, cut into thin slices
1 cup of milk (or cream for extra richness 😄)
1 cup of shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons of butter
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tsp of black pepper
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
Dried herbs, like thyme, are optional. How to do it:
Get the potatoes ready
Cut them thin so they cook evenly.
Make the sauce.
Mix the milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a little melted butter in a bowl.
Put it in layers
Put potatoes in a small dish (or air fryer tray), then pour on some sauce and cheese.
Do it again until everything is gone.
Finish it off
Add a lot of cheese on top to finish it off.
Air fry for 20 to 25 minutes at 160°C (320°F).
Look it over
The top should be golden and bubbly, and the potatoes should be soft. A small piece of advice:
If the top browns too quickly, cover it loosely with foil for a few minutes.
