Method:
- For Chicken and Beef Gravy:
- In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Sprinkle in the flour and stir continuously until it turns light brown.
- Gradually add the broth/stock while whisking to avoid lumps.
- Continue stirring until the gravy thickens.
- Season with ground black pepper. Serve warm.
- For Mushroom Gravy:
- Melt butter in a pan, then add flour and ground mushrooms. Stir for 2-3 minutes.
- Slowly add water while whisking to prevent lumps.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer for 1 minute until it reaches your desired consistency.
