Honey Garlic Ribs

Honey Garlic Ribs

    Ingredients:

2 lbs pork ribs
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp brown sugar
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp chili flakes (optional for spice)
Salt and pepper to taste
Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

     Instructions:

Prepare the Ribs: Cut the ribs into individual pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Make the Marinade: In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, minced garlic, olive oil, ground ginger, and chili flakes. Mix well until the brown sugar is dissolved.
Marinate the Ribs: Place the ribs in a large zip-lock bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake the Ribs: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the ribs on the rack and brush with some of the marinade. Bake for 60-70 minutes, turning and basting with additional marinade every 20 minutes, until the ribs are tender and caramelized.
Finish and Serve: Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
