Ring-A-Ling Sweet Rolls Ingredients
For the dough:
3 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 cup warm milk (not hot)

1/2 cup sugar

For glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2–3 tbsp milk

- Activate the Yeast
In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast.
Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy. - Make the Dough
Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture.
Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic. - Let It Rise
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size. - Shape the Rolls
Punch down the dough.
Divide into small pieces.
Roll each piece into a rope and shape into rings (like donuts).
Place on a lined baking sheet. - Second Rise
Cover and let rise again for 20–30 minutes. - Bake
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden. - Coat or Glaze
Option 1: Cinnamon Sugar
Brush warm rolls with melted butter.
Toss in sugar + cinnamon mixture.
Option 2: Glaze
Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
