Southern Sticky Honey-Glazed Wings
This Southern Sticky Honey-Glazed Wings recipe is a high protein comfort favorite with crispy chicken coated in a rich sweet and savory glaze.

Ingredients:

2 pounds chicken wings

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 half teaspoon onion powder

1 tablespoon oil

For the glaze:

1 third cup honey

1 quarter cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon ketchup

1 tablespoon butter

1 teaspoon chili flakes optional

Directions:

Place chicken wings into the slow cooker and season with salt black pepper paprika garlic powder onion powder and oil.

Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours until wings are tender and fully cooked.

Transfer wings to a baking sheet and broil for a few minutes until the skin becomes slightly crisp.

In a saucepan melt butter then add honey soy sauce brown sugar ketchup and chili flakes and simmer until thick and glossy.

Toss the wings in the glaze until fully coated.

Return to oven for a few minutes to caramelize the sauce.
