🧾 Ingredients (Serves ~12 halves)
For the eggs:
6 large eggs
Water (for boiling)
For the filling:
3 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp lemon juice
½ tsp smoked paprika
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
For the shrimp topping:
12 medium shrimp (peeled & deveined)
3 slices bacon (cooked & chopped)
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
1 tbsp honey (optional for sweet heat)
For garnish:
Fresh parsley (chopped)
👨🍳 Instructions
- Boil the eggs
Place eggs in a pot and cover with water.
Bring to a boil, then turn off heat and cover for 10–12 minutes.
Transfer to ice water, peel, and slice in half lengthwise.
Remove yolks into a bowl. - Make the deviled filling
Mash yolks until smooth.
Mix in mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Stir until creamy and pipe or spoon into egg whites. - Cook the bacon
Cook bacon until crispy, then chop into small bits.
Set aside. - Cook the shrimp
Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add shrimp, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and chili flakes.
Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred.
Drizzle with honey (optional) and toss. - Assemble
Place one shrimp on each filled egg.
Sprinkle bacon bits over the top.
Spoon a little of the pan sauce over each egg for extra flavor. - Garnish & serve
Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Serve immediately or chill slightly before serving.
