Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken
Ingredients:
2–3 lbs (900 g–1.3 kg) boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite)
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Prep the chicken
Place chicken in the bottom of your slow cooker in a single layer.
Make the sauce
In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Pour over chicken
Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken, making sure it’s well coated (just like in the image).
Cook
Cover and cook on:
Low: 6–7 hours
High: 3–4 hours
Until chicken is tender and easy to shred.
Shred (optional)
Use two forks to shred the chicken right in the slow cooker and mix with the sauce.
Serve
Serve on buns, over rice, or with mashed potatoes.

Tips:
Use chicken thighs for extra juicy results.
Add a splash of hot sauce for heat.
For thicker sauce, remove lid for last 20–30 minutes or simmer sauce separately.
