Deli Turkey Pockets
Ingredients
1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough
8 slices deli turkey
1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
2 tbsp cream cheese or mayonnaise
1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
1 tbsp melted butter
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Optional Additions
Sliced tomatoes
Spinach leaves
Cooked bacon
Pickles
Red onion slices
Instructions
Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the Dough
Roll out crescent dough or pizza dough and divide into rectangles or squares.
Add Fillings
Spread a little cream cheese or mayo onto each piece of dough. Add turkey slices and shredded cheese.
Fold into Pockets
Fold dough over the filling and press edges firmly with a fork to seal.
Brush and Season
Brush tops with beaten egg. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning, then brush over the pockets.
Bake
Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve Warm
Let cool slightly before serving.
Tips for Success
Don’t overfill the pockets or they may burst open.
Seal edges tightly to keep cheese inside.
Use Swiss cheese for a deli-style flavor.
Serve with ranch, honey mustard, or marinara sauce.
