Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (adjust to taste for less sweetness)
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs (or oats for a healthier alternative)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips (dark chocolate is great for a less sweet option)
Instructions
- Make the Peanut Butter Mixture
- In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, powdered sugar, graham cracker crumbs, and vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined.
- Shape the Balls
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Freeze
- Transfer the tray to the freezer and let the balls firm up for about 30 minutes.
- Melt the Chocolate
- While the balls are freezing, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
- Dip in Chocolate
- Once the peanut butter balls are firm, use a fork or toothpick to dip each ball into the melted chocolate. Ensure they’re fully coated, then return them to the parchment-lined tray.
- Set the Coating
- Chill the chocolate-coated balls in the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens.
- Enjoy and Store
- Once set, the peanut butter balls are ready to eat! Store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
