🍯 Buttery Caramel Blondies
Ingredients:
¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
1½ cups brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1½ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup caramel bits or chopped soft caramels
Instructions:
Preheat the oven:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line or grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
Mix wet ingredients:
Stir melted butter and brown sugar together until smooth.
Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
Add dry ingredients:
Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
Add caramel:
Fold in caramel bits evenly throughout the batter.
Bake:
Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
Bake for 22–26 minutes, until edges are set and center is slightly soft.
Cool and slice:
Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
