Creamy Pineapple Mousse Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (14 oz / 400g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 oz / 350ml) evaporated milk (chilled)
  • 1 can (20 oz / 560g) crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 1 packet (0.25 oz / 7g) unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) water
  • Optional: Whipped cream for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Gelatin:
    • In a small bowl, combine the gelatin and 1/4 cup water. Let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
    • Heat gently in the microwave or on the stove until fully dissolved, then let it cool slightly.
  2. Blend the Ingredients:
    • In a blender, mix the sweetened condensed milk, chilled evaporated milk, and drained crushed pineapple until smooth.
  3. Add the Gelatin:
    • Slowly pour the dissolved gelatin into the blender while mixing. Blend for another 1–2 minutes to ensure everything is well combined.
  4. Chill the Mousse:
    • Transfer the mixture into a large bowl or individual dessert cups.
    • Refrigerate for 4–6 hours, or until the mousse is fully set.
  5. Serve and Enjoy:
    • Garnish with whipped cream or a sprinkle of crushed pineapple, if desired, before serving.
