Ingredients

Cookie Base:

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Peanut Butter Layer:

  • 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Topping:

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13 pan.
  2. Make cookie base:
    Cream butter + sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir in chocolate chips.
  3. Bake base:
    Spread dough into pan and bake 18–22 minutes until golden. Cool completely.
  4. Peanut butter layer:
    Mix peanut butter + powdered sugar until smooth. Spread over cooled base.
  5. Chocolate topping:
    Melt chocolate chips + butter together. Spread over peanut butter layer.
  6. Chill 1–2 hours until firm.
  7. Cut into bars.

Freezer Tip ❄️

Freeze in layers between parchment paper in airtight container.
