Zero Carb Carnivore Bread
Ingredients
- 6 large eggs, separated
- 225 g (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon melted butter (optional, for extra richness)
Optional Add-Ins
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or parmesan
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 150°C (300°F).
Line a loaf pan or baking sheet with parchment paper. - Separate the eggs into two bowls.
- In the bowl with the yolks, beat together:
- cream cheese
- salt
- melted butter
until smooth and creamy.
- Add cream of tartar to the egg whites.
Beat with a mixer until stiff peaks form. - Gently fold the egg white mixture into the yolk mixture a little at a time.
Do not overmix or the bread will lose its fluffiness. - Pour into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30–40 minutes until golden brown and firm.
- Let cool completely before slicing.
Tips
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Toast slices in butter for the best texture.
- Great for sandwiches, burgers, or grilled cheese on a carnivore/keto diet.
