Ingredients
For the Cake
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup water
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
For the Cream Filling
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 cup whipped topping
For the Frosting
- 1 tub whipped frosting or homemade whipped cream
- White chocolate shavings or sprinkles for garnish ✨
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, combine cake mix, flour, sugar, sour cream, water, eggs, vanilla, and oil. Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Divide batter evenly between pans and bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cakes cool completely.
- Prepare the filling by whisking pudding mix with cold milk until thick. Fold in whipped topping. Chill for 10 minutes.
- Slice each cake layer in half horizontally if desired for extra layers. Spread the creamy filling between each layer.
- Frost the outside with whipped frosting or whipped cream. Decorate with white chocolate shavings or sprinkles.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving for the perfect soft, creamy texture. ❄️
