Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas (mashed)
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup milk (any kind: dairy or plant-based)
1 egg (optional, for a fluffier texture)
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking powder
A pinch of salt
1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional but recommended)
Optional toppings: nuts, sliced banana, or extra chocolate
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease a small baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
Add the milk, egg (if using), honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix well until combined.
Stir in the oats, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until everything is fully combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips for extra richness.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is set and slightly firm.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
