Air Fryer Potato Slices
Ingredients:
3–4 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet)
1½–2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika (smoked or sweet)
½ teaspoon onion powder
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Optional: 1–2 tablespoons grated Parmesan
Optional garnish: fresh parsley or chives
Instructions:
Prep the potatoes
Wash and slice potatoes into ¼-inch (6 mm) rounds. Keep them uniform so they cook evenly.
Soak (for extra crispiness)
Place slices in cold water for 20–30 minutes to remove excess starch.
Drain and dry very well with a towel (this step makes a big difference).
Season
In a bowl, toss potato slices with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Preheat air fryer
Preheat to 200°C (400°F) for 3–5 minutes.
Air fry
Arrange slices in a single layer (work in batches if needed).
Cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Finish
Sprinkle with Parmesan (optional) right after cooking and garnish with herbs.
Serve hot
Best enjoyed immediately with your favorite dip.
Tips:
Don’t overcrowd the basket—airflow = crispiness.
For extra crunch, spray lightly with oil halfway through cooking.
Add chili flakes or Cajun seasoning for a spicy kick.
Serve with ketchup, garlic aioli, or ranch.
