Zero Carb Mug Bread (90 Seconds)

Quick, fluffy, and perfect when you want bread without flour or sugar.

Ingredients (3 Simple Ingredients)

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tbsp almond flour (or coconut flour for lower carb, use 2 tsp)

Optional for Better Flavor

  • Pinch of baking powder (helps rise)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Garlic powder or herbs

Instructions

  1. Mix
    Add egg, cream cheese, and almond flour to a microwave-safe mug or ramekin. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Microwave
    Cook on high for 90 seconds.
    (Depending on microwave strength: 70–100 seconds.)
  3. Cool Slightly
    Let sit 1 minute.
  4. Remove & Slice
    Take out of mug, slice in half, toast if desired.

  • Tuna or chicken salad
  • Peanut butter (if not strict zero carb)

Pro Tip

Toast it in a pan after microwaving for real bread texture.

Important Note

This is very low carb, not technically zero carb if using almond flour. For closest to zero carb, use 1 tbsp crushed pork rind powder instead of almond flour.
